Two Santa Ynez Valley residents have filed a brief asking the U.S. Department of the Interior assistant secretary of Indian Affairs to pull the land called Camp 4 out of federal trust and convey ownership back to the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians.
In their brief filed March 20, Brian and Suzanne Kramer allege the Jan. 19 decision to take the land into trust for the tribe is not final because it was challenged by them and two others — Lewis P. Geyser and Robert B. Corlett — within the allowed appeal period. (Click here to read full article)

The myths versus facts is excellent! The only thing missing is who is going to pay for the massive loss in value of the homes and working ranches that surround these properties? The losses are already happening with sales being dropped as soon as the buyer learns about what is occurring in the valley. We are all being held hostage by this casino tribe who clearly want all of us to just leave and they don’t care how they do it. Everything is illegitimate about this process: the land the casino is on was never taken in by the US, the people are not who they say they are and they have lied about their plans since day one. The County isn’t interested in helping the Valley people either.
